and the rest of the summer...

we finished up the rest of the summer with a panicked "sign the kids up for whatever camp is still open" motive. we ended up finding some really great karate, soccer, and vbs camps.

we night swam when anyone would have us...

we enjoyed a father's day/ double baptism extravaganza...

a few cousin museum days...

july is also our birthday extravaganza month...

and these beauties got their braces off! very exciting.

my friends and i put on an epic vbs for our parish...

and finally the first day of school rolled around...

my "sisters" and i enjoyed our traditional first day of school breakfast. started when our eldest were in kindergarten and now they are sophomores in high school!! crazy how times flies!

we also started what ended up being a pretty big house remodel. knocking down a wall turned into new floors, paint, moving bedrooms around, etc.
