my little D had a birthday this past sunday.
she is a little obsessed with anything frozen
and really wished for a frozen themed party.
we blasted the soundtrack and transformed the backyard into a frozen forest.
brrrr…….
auntie sarah made her an amazing anna cake. beautiful and delicious.
she was so excited to have a "school friends" party.
the girls had royal crowns and the boys had reindeer antlers.
we had lots of fun surprises on our food table….
frozen grapes, snowflake cupcakes, snowflake cheese, snowflake sugar cookies and snowflake sandwiches. the kids were most excited about the white bread.
big sister S made an appearance in an elsa costume she constructed out of plastic bags.
we made snowflake art work with epsom salt and black construction paper. we did snowflake mazes and had lots of anna and elsa and olaf coloring pages.
a lot of time was spent belting out the songs while playing soccer.
R was really pumped about the unlimited sweets choices.
happy birthday to my sweet, amazing, over achiever, thoughtful, aware, giving, talented girl.
we got her a huge donut just for her on her birthday morning. she took a bit of it and then wrote a note to her siblings to split and share it between themselves.
she is a delightful child and i am so thankful for her.
