i snapped this pic after school one day. it started pouring on our drive home and the kids couldn't wait to jump out of the car and play in the rain. it cracked me up because 3 of them ran straight into the backyard and got soaked. one of them disappeared for about 5 min. and then emerged with a rain-play appropriate outfit. some people just prefer to be more prepared...

i got him a surprise today at a garage sale... a not so new chair. but better than a drum stool.
p.s. at this same garage sale... my friend got a pair of frye boots!! i was excited to see an article about frye boots in my country living magazine last month :)
