REFRIGERATOR DRIVE-BY

big excitement!! my mom's refrigerator went out the other day. she brought some food over to our house to put in our refrigerator until she got a new one. i went with her to look and price some new ones out. i decided to take D so that Paul didn't have to be home with all of them. it usually makes things a little easier with even just one little darling out of the mix. D wanted to play with my iphone ( a popular activity with my kids, usually causes many arguments) and since she was the only one with us, i happily gave it to her. well she decided to record our refrigerator searches. these pics were all taken by her without our knowledge. pretty funny stuff...

i look really excited here..
thinking hard....

claudio.... he loved all my questions..... hahaha....
our feet....
i think this one would be good.....
D's view of noni....
views from home depot....
D's feet.....
noni trying to decide.....
finally we went to spencers and found a great deal and the perfect fridge for noni. this was very exciting for the kids. i wasn't really sure why they were so interested, but i was just as excited. so we went right over to noni's after school and watched the new fridge be delivered and installed. L ran right up to noni and asked in a serious voice...
"how did your refrigerator get shot?" while looking for bullet holes.
she must have heard noni say her refrigerator was shot and she needed a new one. haha. we explained that it was broken and that was just a phrase. no gun shots.
D was just excited about the afterschool snack.
nothing can compete with a little Arthur action...
L and noni's new fridge.

very exciting stuff...

all done. now off to the grocery store! thanks for all the excitement noni!!!

This to me is funny too! I guess because it looks like we have the same refrigerator and I don't like it at all! If it is just your Mom it will probably be fine, but for our growing family there is just not enough room. They could have extended the shelves more because my kids can actually step into the fridge because there is a ledge big enough for their feet. It drives me crazy! Oh, and also sometimes the motor makes a loud noise when it is resetting itself! But that is just ours, we have had it 8 years now. The day it breaks down we are getting a bigger fridge and I can't wait!

This post made me laugh! Little people have such a different perspective on things. Who would think buying a new refrigerator would be so exciting?! Thanks for sharing ...
