are you looking for a healthy, gluten free, dairy free, clean treat? well this chia seed pudding is one of my go tos when doing various cleanses. my friend gave me the recipe and i wasn't a big fan right away. but the second time i made it i liked it much better. don't get me wrong, it's not amazingly delicious, it's kind of an acquired taste. but when you are cutting out sugar and you just want something that feels decadent... this is the treat for you. i'd rather have a pint of ben & jerry's chocolate therapy....
mmmmmmmm... but nonetheless it is good. and good for you!
1. gather ingredients: mason jars, spoon, chia seeds, cashew or almond milk, vanilla, almond butter, flaxseed meal & honey (optional)(obviously makes it better)
2. add around 3T of chia seeds per 1C of liquid.
3. add a dollop of almond butter
4. add around 1T of flaxseed meal
5. add your liquid choice & a little honey
6. give it a good stir. i didn't stir mine enough the first time.
7. put on the lids and give them a good shake.
8. put in fridge and enjoy at your leisure :)
